The title of the exhibition hosted in the spaces of A60 Contemporary Art Space in Florence reminds us of the importance of poetic action in art. TOUCH THE CLOUD THAT SLEEPS is not a simple title but an indication that wants to lead the observer into a field (the creative one) that has increasingly emptied itself of the precious weight of the lyrical dream close to life, an essential element of making art . Contemporary society witnesses more and more, every day, a progressive trend that appears unglued from true needs and precious emotions capable of opening our eyes to different horizons: everything has become liquid, horizontal, superficial, "global". Some forms of contemporary art also experience these conditions. A few weeks ago on the occasion of a business trip, I observed the clouds from the window of the plane on which I was traveling, enraptured by the impalpable, monumental, luminous and very light beauty of that spectacle: the clouds were priceless architectures.
