Ramadan and the advantages it brings
Ramadan, also spelled as Ramadhan, is the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar and is observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting, prayer, reflection, and community. During this holy month, Muslims fast from dawn to sunset, refraining from food, drink, smoking, and intimate relations. This fasting is intended to teach selfdiscipline, self-control, empathy for the less fortunate, and a deepening of one’s spiritual connection.
The benefits of Ramadan are multifaceted. Physically, fasting can lead to detoxification, weight loss, and improved metabolic health. Mentally and spiritually, it offers an opportunity for self-reflection, increased mindfulness, and a chance to strengthen one’s relationship religiously. Day 4: Serengeti National Park- Ngorongoro crater. After breakfast, we will leave for an early drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive.
