GENERAL INFORMATION
LOCATION: The sale will be held at NWA J36 Auc on Centre, Crooklands, Cumbria, LA7 7FP.
CONDITIONS OF SALE: The sale will be held subject to the rules and regula ons of the Livestock Auconeers Associa on General Condi on of Sale.
METHOD OF SALE: All ca le will be sold in guineas (105 pence) and strictly in catalogue order, unless any altera on is announced by the Auc oneers.
COMMISSIONS: The Auc oneers will du fully execute commissions to purchase for buyers unable to a end the sale personally.
PEDIGREE TRANSFERS: All transfers of pedigree will be the responsibility of the purchasers.
SETTLEMENT AND CLEARANCE OF STOCK: Se lement in full is due immediately at the close of sale. No animal may leave the Sale Premises without an official ‘Pass Out’, obtainable only from the Auconeers upon se lement.
RESERVE PRICES: Vendors shall have the right to accept the final bid for their animals.
ERRORS AND OMISSIONS: The auc oneers can accept no responsibility for any errors or omissions printed in the catalogue.

4.2 Trial Period. The purchaser shall give the bull sufficient me and opportunity to prove itself capable of ge ng stock by natural service while applying the standards of good husbandry and management as per Appendix A and, subject to clause 4.3 hereof, in any event within six calendar months of the date of sale, or within six calendar months of a aining the age of fourteen months (whichever is the later) (THE TRIAL PERIOD). A claim for infer lity or incapability will not normally be accepted in the case of an inexperienced bull un l he has been allowed a minimum of three natural heat cycles with the females.
4.3 Deferring the trial period. If upon purchase of the bull it is found imprac cable for the purchaser to try the bull fairly within the Trial Period stated in Clause 4.2 above due to the Purchasers normal calving programme, the Purchaser shall on the day of the sale, or within the next seven days,give the Auc oneers no ce in wri ng of the month in which it is proposed to commence using the bull. At the discre on of the vendor (in consulta on with the Auc oneers, if applicable) the Vendor may defer the date of the commencement of the trial period of three calendar months (THE DEFERRAL PERIOD).
Acceptance or otherwise of the Purchaser’s wri en request, shall be conveyed to the Purchaser by the Auc oneer in wri ng, within seven days of the request being made. If the Trial Period is deferred the bull should not be used during the Deferral Period
