Sale Conditions
Sale Conditions Stock will be sold under the conditions of sale displayed in the mart, recommended by the Livestock Auctioneers’ Association for England and Wales.
Purchasers please bring the CPH number, address & postcode of the premises where the animals will be moved to and the registration number of the vehicle in which they are to be transported. These are all required when printing the movement licences.
The Auctioneers & Fieldsmen will be pleased to assist in arranging transport for livestock.
Health & Safety
It is reminded to all customers that Livestock should not be unloaded without the assistance of a member of staff. Children are not allowed in the sale ring at any time. Please inform a member of staff before unloading if your livestock could be dangerous.
Purchasers
Payment is due on day of sale unless alternative arrangements have been made in advance. Accepted methods of Payment

Farm in Unrestricted Zone:
Farms located in this area can consign all classes of stock in the usual way, all that stock is eligible to be sold to farms in the restricted and unrestricted zone.
Farm in Restricted Zone:
Store Cattle & Stirks: North West Auctions are advising store cattle and stirk vendors in the RZ to apply via the DEFRA website for an EXD632 specific licence, this specific licence allows cattle to be sold to farms in the unrestricted zone, as well as those in the RZ. Please note these licences can take up to ten days to be authorised.
Rearing Calves: If the calf is over 60 days old, vendors can apply for an EXD632 licence and no blood test to allow the calf to be sold to a customer outside the restricted zone. Where the calf is under 60 days old a clear blood test would be required in addition to the EXD632.
OTM / CAST Cattle: Stock from the restricted zone can be sold for slaughter. Feeding cattle can be sold to farms in the restricted zone. Appling for an EXD632 would allow feeding cattle to be sold to unrestricted zones.
