Sale Conditions Stock will be sold under the conditions of sale displayed in the mart, recommended by the Livestock Auctioneers’ Association for England and Wales.

Purchasers please bring the CPH number, address & postcode of the premises where the animals will be moved to and the registration number of the vehicle in which they are to be transported. These are all required when printing the movement licences.

The Auctioneers & Fieldsmen will be pleased to assist in arranging transport for livestock.

Vendors please make sure all sheep are correctly tagged before coming to market.

All breeding sheep are to be treated against scab and accompanied to the Market with a signed Sheep Scab Declaration form.

No lots can leave the market without a ‘pass slip’ being issued by the main office.

Payment Payment on the day is required unless alternative arrangements have been made in advance with Livestock Manager Payment by Cheque for established customers or Debit Card There will be a 2.5% charge on credit card transactions.

How to find us...

From the South At junction 33, exit towards Lancaster (South) A6. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Preston Lancaster Road/A6 heading to Lancaster. Head straight through the village of Galgate and through two sets of traffic lights. At the traffic light crossroads continue straight on again. After approx 300yards, bare right onto Barton Road. After 1 mile turn right at the mini roundabout onto Coulston Road, then right onto Wyresdale road and North West Auctions will be on your right.

From the North Exit the M6 at junction 34 onto Lancaster Road/A683 towards Lancaster and Morecambe, and continue to follow the A683. Continue for a third of a mile onto Caton Road/A6. Turn left at Parliament Street/A6 and continue to follow the A6. Turn left at Rosemary Lane/A6, then another left to stay on Rosemary lane/A6. Take a slight left at Dalton Square and turn left to stay on Dalton Square. Continue onto Nelson Street, then onto East Road. Turn right at Wyresdale Road, then left to continue on Wyresdale Road. North West Auctions will be on the right.
