TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP – Important Information

New owners should notify The Fell pony Society of the transfer of ownership within 30 days of the transfer (31 October 2020). This is a legal requirement in England with penalties for non-compliance. This also applies to those eg dealers, who only possess the horse for a short time period.

Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, the FPS Secretary will not be present on sale day to process any transfers etc.

Owners must send the physical passport to The Fell Pony Society together with a completed transfer of ownership form (to be found in the back cover of the passport) providing their name, address and contact details. The fee is £10 for current FPS members, £20 for non-members. Cheque/PO made payable to ‘The Fell Pony Society’ or bank transfer (using owner name as the reference)
