Dairy Dispersal on behalf of RL&JP Crowe, Hall Farm North West Auctions are pleased to conduct the dispersal sale on behalf of RL& J Crowe who have taken the decision to sell the milking portion of the herd, having milked at Hall Farm since 1972. The herd has been managed on a low input commercial system based around summer grazing and the feeding of grass silage in the winter months with concentrates fed in Parlour. The herd management has seen a closed herd policy practiced and AI service used on all stock which has an all year round calving pattern. Hall Farm is situated within a 4 year TB testing parish with the last whole herd test passed in November 2018. All stock will be vaccinated for BVD & Lepto prior to sale, with a booster required later required in due course by the purchaser. Buyers attendance is highly recommended as these cows will suit a range of modern dairy farming systems and are offered for sale with no prior to sale preparation. These heifers are naturally grown and well suited to the modern dairy systems. Lupton Hall operates a closed herd system, with all cattle being vaccinated for Lepto, BVD and IBR and the herd monitored for Johnes. The herd is on a TB4 status, with the last test being completed in January 2019.
