At Haverty Family Yards on Dec. 10, a trombone choir will take the stage for an afternoon concert. Admission for Trombone Christmas 2022 is free for all visitors. Museum goers are welcomed to the rehearsal at 12:30 p.m. as well as the concert itself at 2:15 p.m. Not enticed enough by free music by trained musicians? Participants will also be greeted with decorated players and instruments. Judges will be evaluating performers for the players and brass with the most festival holiday appearance.

The ticketed event will occur on Dec. 17 from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Science City will host Merry Science Day on Dec. 17. The venue will also host a noon New Year’s Eve event. Santa is even rumored to make an appearance. The show runs for about an hour and 15 minutes. Tickets are available for $12 online. Evening performances will start at 6:30 from Friday to Sunday with a matinee performance at 2 p.m. p.m. happening also.
