BUTTERWHYNOT HORSEHOME Y-shaped gambrel-inspired shelter for livestock September 2023 — December 2023 Instructors: M. Sharif and I. Molina As a product of an introductory technology seminar, this croissant-esque object originated from piecing together the remains of a splitted geometry of three conjoined rectangular gambrel-roofed structures in the shape of the letter “ Y ” , the theme of the course.

Fall 2023 ARCH & UD 141 Technology I: Projections Selected pieces from final exhibit of design using Rhino and Illustrator “To be frank, I do not know what this is either”, I said during the final review of this Technology seminar. It seems like precisely this peculiarity and inability to describe what kind of a form this is that made the reviewers love this project so much that the grade was whispered to me upon completing the presentation. As gateway to future advanced coursework at UCLA, AUD 141 is my first work in a professional school of architecture, one that may set the standard of more amazing designs from 2-3 years to come.
(schwa-ZEE) Choisy drawing — n. an enlarged worm’s-eye drawing, focused on particular points of interest (skylight, rotunda, etc.) emphasizing interior over exterior

TEN | Passion Sketches of Few Prominent Structures
Milstein Hall, 2011, by Rem Koolhaas and Sibley Hall, 1870, by Archimedes Russell in Cornell University, Ithaca, New York The dream school of mine, this sketch is a birthday present for a friend, a Cornellian who began her BArch here in Summer 2020.
Jin Mao Tower, 1998, by SOM in Shanghai, China My father was a contractor for its hotel floors (53F ~ 67F), and this is my Father’s Day present for him.
Gateway Arch, 1965, by Eero Saarinen in Saint Louis, Missouri One of my favorite cities in the Midwest primarily due to this prominent and iconic structural monument.
Crystal Palace, 1850, by Joseph Paxton in London, U. Kingdom A recurring building in all my architecture history courses, and an engineering feat that was constructed in just 17 short weeks.
