WELCOME

to the Spring Issue of Local Getaways Express!

Spring is one of the most magical times to visit. The hills are green, wildflowers are in bloom and the air carries that fresh, coastal clarity that makes everything feel possible.

Lace up your hiking shoes and explore the breathtaking trails of Mount Tamalpais, where panoramic views stretch from the Pacific Ocean to the San Francisco skyline. Wander the coastal bluffs of Point Reyes National Seashore, or stroll the charming waterfront in Sausalito or Tiburon. Spring festivals, farmers’ markets and art walks begin to fill the calendar, offering visitors a vibrant taste of local culture.

Just north, Wine Country comes alive as mustard flowers blanket the vineyards. This is the season of wine release parties, garden tours and alfresco tastings. Reserve a table at one of the many sought after restaurants in Sonoma or Napa or discover a tucked-away bistro where farm-to-table cuisine reflects the bounty of the season.

From scenic coastal drives and redwood groves to Michelin-starred meals and boutique tasting rooms, spring invites you to slow down and savor. We’re excited to be part of your journey and we hope this issue inspires you to experience the best that the Bay has to offer.
