This space contains a gallery, a Café, interactive terrestrial spaces, viewing areas, and two common area spaces, where people can come together, but also disperse into the globules.

In addition to globules, spheroids, and platforms for circulation, this exhibit contains hollowedout skylights for thermal regulation, taking into consideration transportation, evaporation, and density of air.

The book’s title acknowledges that Higgins is where we emerged and where we were originally from. “Biome is an amalgamation that resembles evocative moments of balance/ coexistence showcased between human beings and the natural world. Globules and spheroids resemble hollowed-out ellipsoids and spheres which are oriented according to sun and water patterns. The Biome is conceived using a system in which each spheroid evolves to create multiple globules, taking bio-mimicry into consideration to imitate how an amoeba cell undergoes binary fission.
