An EV charger station is located in Tennessee, between the border of North Carolina and Tennessee. It is located in the mountains of Tennessee. Specifically, the great smoky mountains within Newfound Gap road. The road receives a high volume of traffic during different seasons as it is a sought-after scenic route that people tend to drive from North Carolina to Tennessee and vice versa.

The EV charger station deploys an art exhibit as its program. An art exhibit that is created for unwinding. The idea is to examine the notion of resting stop and how that could correspond to a resting mind.
The project explores different aspects and qualities that reinforce the idea of unwinding. Not only does the project engage the occupant spatially, but also through the senses.
The art exhibit utilizes one of Tennessee’s rich qualities, which is the landscape, and introduces it to the architecture. Furthermore, it takes a stance on architecture that is defined by 3 fundamentals, spatial, durational, and sensory qualities.

“25 FEET Off Higgins” is a truly student organized zine publication that aims to showcase student work on an accessible and personal scale. We are unofficial, unpolished, nonbureaucratic, and off Higgins. The book’s title acknowledges that Higgins is where we emerged and where we were originally from. However, we must stay away from its jurisdiction. 25 feet from Higgins is where students are allowed to smoke. “25 FEET Off Higgins” is where students are allowed to express themselves freely while having proximity to their base. It is a discussion from beyond Higgins; to be brought back into Higgins.
