[Odd Phenomenon of Modern Religions] Prosperity Theology began to develop rapidly from 20th centery. It claims that believer should become successful especially in terms of finance. These churches pay much attention on the scale of their population. More and more people obey on the appearance of the speech and lose their own philosophy. And more corruption of the religious leaders followed.

Capitalism has made the big gap between rich and poor. Fast and shallow information make people’s thought poor. They don’t think about what the conspiracy is behind the “religions”.

This is what I want to fight.

[ F a i t h _ N o n - P r e s e n t a t i v e ] What faith is to me is a really personal thing. How a person face his or her life? What’s the philosophy of a person? To get close to the faith, everyone has to experience their own life. The route of getting close to faith might be slow and deep-thought.

The processes to find people’s own faith, which reflects the space of the modern church, is so short that the followers can’t really clam down. Getting into some kind of status which is quiet and peaceful enough is quite important to people who is preparing to face their own faith.

I’m trying to create this kind of space in my design.

A t t h e h i e ra rc h y o f t h e space, I was trying to put an "intermediary space" between the holy space (the main chapel) and the secular space (some social space that serves the community). The long aisle surrounding outside the main chapel is the intermediary space. It provides the atmosphere which calms people's mental state before they go into the scared. In my opinion, this strategy of space hierarchy can help people to think what their 2

空間想像

[Hotel] There are many business hotels near this site. Most of the tourists only stay in their own room, having no chance to meet others. I was trying to create some public space to make the distance of those people closer.

[Gallery] The gallery is an attractor that make the people in the urban roaming in.

Communication between tourists and residents would happen in the space.

Project Year : 2017

The poster was designed for the joint studio between Thunghai university department of architecture from Taiwan and University Tunku Abdul Rahman from Malaysia. The joint studio was an architecture design studio that made students from two different countries to learn from each other.

As a poster designer of this studio, I was trying to put some "Tunghai elements" in the graphic. These elements are some icons of architecture plan in our campus. Because those architecture and space are really influential in Tunghai, to show them into the poster is quite important to represent our campus.

Also, the chops of two colleges were put on the poster. I was trying to figure out what the best relationship between these icons and texts.
