Hey y’all!

Happy December! It’s officially the time of year when everyone remembers their New Year resolutions and begins to “better themselves” for the next year. It’s a time when everyone looks back and reflects on their experiences. A retrospect is a review of past events, and this year has been a crazy one; there is so much to reflect on. I hope you enjoy everything written from poetry to short stories to Long Beach history. I’m so proud and excited about every piece, written or illustrated, here. This issue is bittersweet for me as it’s my last one. The last three years at 22 West have made my college experience; I’m forever grateful for that and everyone who’s interacted with our magazine!
