september’s pets of the month, best friends and sometime lovers, red ear turtles TOOT and XANDER are drawn together by their love of fashion and animated TV shows, interests imparted on them by their owners, models JAMES NOLA and SHARAN RANJIT. Living together in the uber-chic inner city quarters just behind aucklands k’rd, TOOT and XANDER won’t be seen out with them on the regular party circuit though or doing the rounds of k’rds clubs and bars, prefering instead to get tanked at home... asked if XANDER has any insecurities about being smaller than his girlfriend, James says “no, not at all! in fact, since TOOT has been around, XANDER’s really come out of his shell.
