The Village of Tuxedo Park will be initiating a Lake Management program intended to control excessive growth of aquatic vegetation, specifically Eurasian watermilfoil, as well as nuisance algae growth. The program is being carried out under the supervision of New York State Department of Conservation
Notification of the exact date(s) of treatment will be provided seven days in advance of the treatment and will be posted by the shoreline on the day(s) of application.

Self-service on a first-come, first-served basis.
Larger sailboats are moored on the water so assistance to and from the Boathouse will be required.

Tuxedo Lake is tested monthly by the Citizens Statewide Lake Assessment Program (CSLAP) under the supervision of the New York State Department of Conservation As many will know, the Lake is the main source of drinking water for the Village


Fishing
Tuxedo Lake is often referred to as a ‘hidden gem ’ for freshwater fishing. Trout (Rainbow, Brown, Tiger), Bass (Large & Smallmouth), Pickerel, Catfish, Carp, and hungry Sunfish all call Tuxedo Lake home.
Members of all ages can enjoy fishing at the Club, whether from the docks or on the newly equipped Carolina Fishing Skiff.
Want to know the best locations to hook a big one? Guided fishing tours with Dockhand Jack MacLeod can be scheduled for parties of 1-5 people (all poles and gear provided).

Sailing
Dating back to 1940, when the Club was registered on The Lloyd’s Register of American Yacht Clubs, sailing has been a part of the Tuxedo experience for decades. The Club currently owns four Opti Junior Sailers, one Vanguard 420 dinghy and one O’Day Daysailer.

Rowing & 1886 Regatta
Tuxedo Lake offers one of the region’s most stunning freshwater rowing settings. The Club offers sculls for both entry-level and advanced rowers and has contacts to multiple rowing instructors for all skill levels.

Each year the Club plays host to the 1886 Regatta where eight of the top men ’ s and women ’ s single scull rowers in the United States compete in a one-on-one knockout-style competition on Tuxedo Lake. This year ’ s Regatta will be Sunday, October 13th.
