Welcome to Nielson Landon & Cattle 2024 Annual Bull sale! We are pleased to be partnered up with C & E Stephens Farms with their strong group of Simmental bulls.
This year we have on offer Black and Red angus yearling and 2 year old bulls along with a couple 50% SimAngus bulls and F1 open females. We are extremely happy with how the bulls have progressed this year, having some of our best gains we’ve ever had.
All of the bulls are on a TMR ration consisting of dry hay, barley silage and Masterfeeds pellet mixture. They have had strong gains all winter long. We encourage you to come walk through the bulls anytime, we’d be happy to show you around. Cows are close by for viewing to give you an idea on their maternal traits.
The sale will again be a Timed Auction this year, with bulls and heifers penned outside of the shop for you to walk through and check out. We invite you to come out sale day for lunch and answer any questions you might have.

It is with great pleasure to be working with Larry Nielson and the entire family at their Annual Bull Sale at the farm near Craik, SK. This year again, we are doing an Online Timed Sale at the farm ending at 7 PM on April 4th. There will be an open house with food being served that day. Welcome to the Nielson Land and Cattle 2024 bull sale. I’d like to thank the Nielson’s and Ehrhart’s for the invite to consign again this year in their annual bull sale. Our purebread numbers are steadily increasing as we calved out 55 this spring to go along with 125 commercial cows. Our commercial heard is a simmi cross herd that we’ve been breeding black simmi for quite some time with fantastic results. We have 8 nice black Simmental bulls, 7 yearlings and 1 two year old, we are offering up for sale this year. Little bit of something for everyone, whether its solid black or BBF, performamce or calving ease, there is something that should work for what your looking for. The bulls were weaned early October and started on a TMR feed consisting of grass/alfalfa hay, corn silage and mineral. They are also pail fed brown oats daily, this really gets them used to being handled and walked through and has made them all quiet and nice to work with. The bulls will be on display at Nielson Land and Cattle for couple days at sale time and they’re always avaliable for evaluation at our place. Stop in on April 4th for lunch and a beverage and see if there’s a bull that can fit your needs, I’m sure there is.
