INVISIBLE CHANGE The project is trying in a less intense but ubiquitous way to improve their lives on the basis of the caste based ecology of Dharavi. As far as the eyes, all aspects of life are changing. The maratha still sell spices, the Tamils still manufacture leather, with more sophisticated tools and new techniques. Let's change Dharavi from the bottom to up in the every corner of life.

DHARAVIâ€™s ATTITUDE Ignore Change People tend not change but instead they keep themselves stable. Positively To Imporve Life Contrary to this attitude, most residents want a better life. Do Not Know How To Change Many people are still illiterate, therefore they don't know how to make a change.

SLUM,HOME and MARKET Slum Daharavi is One of the biggest slum in the world. Home Home to 300,000 people. Live in 156 Nagars. Market All embracing Market in Mumbai , India.

INDUSTRY and CASTE Caste People with the same caste have more in common and tend to live together. N agar is a residential area based on caste. Caste Determines Work Caste is a social system based on occupation. Therefore, for Dharavi immigrants, their caste determines the occupation in Dharavi. Handicraft Industry Under the effect of Caste, Occupation and S ettlement , a light industrial zone was formed. The main industries of Dharavi are handicraft. Manual Labour People of Dharavi are mainly engaged in industrial worker / handler / shopkeeper.

DHARAVI IS EVOLVING Dharavi is constantly evolving. The local materials and the life of Dharavi people have shaped the unique form form of Dharavi. With the evolution of Dharavi, more and more residents will bring thousands of materials and life, and constantly improve Dharavi and the library that will become a part of Dharavi soon.

URBAN FRINGES Cities need to develop. In this process, there are many imbalances among regions. Underdeveloped regions are more likely to become marginal regions. The relatively backward mode of production and low income of the residents in the marginal areas make them more likely to become "marginal" groups.These people are ignored because of they in the suburbs , Xianlin District of Nanjing is a typical example.

If the life of the elderly can be integrated into new development opportunities and vitality, what kind of scene will appear? This project gives the answer.

AGEING OF POPULATION Since 1980s,as an important light industrial city in China, Suzhou's main urban area (also known as the old urban area) has become less attractive. Many young people leave the old town and find their own life in the outskirts of city. The old town has a lot of cultural heritages, including the world cultural heritage. The local government want to protect urban environment and moved some polluted industries out from the city. All these reasons lead to the hollowÂ phenomenon and the aging of population. Only old people and abandoned factories live here now.

In this small botanical garden, people can choose their favorite plants and grow these plants together, then share the ecological environment they created. Young people have a place to rest after work, while old people can spend their time by taking care of plants. It provide a place for old people to communicate.
