WELCOME

What began as an idea to have a simple film screening in Grenada, morphed into an international movement to promote and inspire fellow filmmakers of color from the Caribbean and beyond!

Our team at 1261 Film Festival remains fiercely dedicated to building an international community that champions collaboration, opportunities, and support for visual storytellers from Grenada and throughout the Caribbean and African Diaspora.

A special thanks to our fantastic team, devoted community of volunteers, great partners, sponsors, passionate filmmakers, and audiences who've supported our 1261 Film Festival and 1261 International Film Tour this past year.

We hope you will consider joining us again in Grenada, May 2-9, 2020!
