Sahana Narayan is the Founder and Editor in Chief of 11 Seconds Magazine She is an award-winning journalist, public health scholar, and aspiring physician. She is particularly passionate about re-centering both the patient and their story in medical encounters, especially as she aspires for a career in maternal-fetal medicine and surgery. She has a special interest in improving access to maternal, reproductive, and gynecological care through medical and patient education She holds an MS from Harvard Medical School and an MSPH from Columbia University.

Kira Zizzo is the Digital Content Editor of 11 Seconds Magazine. She is an accomplished journalist and Hesburgh Yusko Scholar at the University of Notre Dame where she is pursuing a degree in Marketing and Visual Communication, with a minor in Journalism and Democracy She seeks to shed light on overlooked narratives and highlight the experiences of women from all walks of life Kira is committed to using this platform to empower women and promote diversity and inclusion, for a better and more equitable world

Alex Epshtein is the Creative Content Editor of 11 Seconds Magazine. Alex has just completed their final year studying Global Health at King’s College London (KCL). Throughout the degree, they specialised in neuroscience and took a liking to studying biotechnologies, specifically assistive reproductive technology (ART). They hope to continue their research by contributing to the 11 Seconds Magazine, helping to raise awareness surrounding topics such as abortion legislation, discourses of motherhood, LGBTQ+ rights and reproductive labour
