For 47 perfumes we recorded one full-bottle price, from the house’s own EU shop or a large EU perfume retailer, between 27 September 2026 and 2 October 2026, and set it against today’s 10ML 30ml price. At the median, the 30ml decant costs 1.14× the bottle’s price per ml; the middle half of the perfumes sit between 0.95× and 1.51×. The bottles hold 50ml to 100ml, and a larger bottle of the same perfume usually costs less per ml. Bottle prices carry the day they were read; decant prices are today’s 10ML member prices, VAT included. A figure below 1× means the decant costs less per ml.
How the index is built Every perfume on sale, in every size it is offered in: 3ml, 10ml and 30ml. One price per perfume and size. Price per ml is the price divided by the millilitres, in euros including VAT. The median is the middle value: half the perfumes cost less per ml, half cost more. Niche means the perfume is in our niche perfumes collection; every other perfume counts as designer. Niche or designer is decided once per house, from our house list, so every perfume of a house sits on the same side. What is measured: 10ML member prices with VAT included, the same price in every EU country we deliver to. What is not: this is not a market average and does not cover other shops. The perfumes are the ones 10ML stocks, weighted to popular and recent launches, with niche houses over-represented. Sample today: 1,056 perfumes from 89 houses, 460 designer and 596 niche, 3,160 prices in all. The figures refresh from the live catalogue at least every hour. The text is reviewed every month; the date under the title shows when it last changed.

When you quote a figure, give the date, as prices change: these tables are from 15 October 2026. Questions people ask How much does perfume cost per ml? At 10ML on 15 October 2026, a 3ml decant costs a median €3.60/ml, a 10ml €3.05/ml and a 30ml €2.57/ml. These are 10ML member prices with VAT included, across 1,056 perfumes from 89 houses. At 30ml the cheapest perfume costs €1.13 per ml and the dearest €16.84, so the house and the perfume matter as much as the size.
How much more does niche perfume cost per ml than designer? At 30ml, the median niche perfume costs €3.06/ml against €2.07/ml for designer: 48% more per ml. The gap holds in every size; at 10ml it is €3.73 against €2.41 per ml. The figures cover 596 niche and 460 designer perfumes at 10ML member prices, VAT included, on 15 October 2026.
Which bottle size is cheapest per ml? The largest. At 10ML a 30ml decant costs a median 16% less per ml than the 10ml of the same perfume, and 28% less than the 3ml. A full bottle is not always cheaper still: for 15 of the 47 perfumes we compared, the 30ml decant cost less per ml than the official bottle.
Do small sizes cost more per ml? Yes. Across the perfumes 10ML stocks, a 3ml costs a median €3.60/ml and a 10ml €3.05/ml, against €2.57/ml for a 30ml. For the same perfume, moving from the 3ml to the 30ml saves a median 28% per ml, and from the 10ml to the 30ml 16%. These are 10ML member prices, VAT included, on 15 October 2026.
What is the average price of a 100ml perfume? In our reference of official full-bottle prices, the 21 perfumes sold in 100ml cost a median €156, or €1.56/ml, VAT included, read from house shops and large EU retailers between 27 September 2026 and 2 October 2026. They are well-known designer and niche perfumes, so treat the figure as a reference point, not a market average.
Which perfume houses are the most expensive per ml? Among houses with at least 10 perfumes at 10ML, the median 30ml costs most per ml at Clive Christian (€10.94), Nasomatto (€5.58) and Louis Vuitton (€4.94), and least at Mancera (€1.56). These are medians of 10ML member prices, VAT included, on 15 October 2026; the full list is in the tables above.
Is a full bottle cheaper per ml than a decant? Not always. For 47 perfumes we set an official full-bottle price against today’s 10ML 30ml price: the decant cost a median 1.14× the bottle’s price per ml, and less per ml for 15 of them. The bottle prices come from house shops and large EU retailers, checked between 27 September 2026 and 2 October 2026.
Where does this data come from, and can I use it? From 10ML’s own catalogue: every perfume on sale, its member price with VAT included, divided by its size and recomputed at least every hour.
