what is Argeton? The visual impact of a timeless modern façade with the distinctive character of natural terracotta in a ventilating rainscreen. This was the specific inspiration for developing the ArGeTon® façade as a ventilated terracotta rainscreen since 1982. ArGeTon ® has held CWCT test certification for ten years from the internationally accredited TayWood Laboratories in the UK. We maintain a continuing assessment policy with BBA, and hold BREEAM Environmental Rating under certificate ENP 424. Whether in a new building or refurbishment, an ArGeTon® façade promotes tangible environmental benefits. The façade is regarded as having superior performance in fire. The vertical joint profile prevents lateral shifting of the tiles and penetration of driving rain; its compression prevents rattling of the tiles in windy conditions. The tiles pass through a special calibration device during production to ensure excellent dimensional accuracy - vital to the precise joint grid, which is in turn essential for the overall impression of the façade. ArGeTon® collaborate internationally with manufacturers of membranes, cavity fire barristers, insulation and aluminium to ensure compaliance with international design codes to supplement the existing assessed design life of our system of 50-100 years.
