• Engagement with Stores – site visits of all stores in the estate by rascal Field Service Managers, delivering best practice ideas, on site troubleshooting, and further training to improve rascal use and compliance across the estate. • Improved reporting – reviewed reporting pipeline and delivered several new reports to help stores manage the category, including the Potential Sell Out report, Outstanding Credit Report, and Product Check reporting. • Upgrade to V6.2 – V6.2 across the estate and Welcome Break were one of the first retailers to benefit from this upgrade.

Auto News Claims (Smiths) • All Smiths News supplied stores benefit from rascal raising their newspaper Goods In claims since October 2013. • Since the introduction of Auto News Claims for Smiths in October, we have seen a dramatic reduction in rejected credits on the basis of “Too Late” and “Claim Not Received”. Annualised benefit £20,272 • Work is ongoing with Menzies to encourage them to support Auto News Claims.
Gap Scanning • A trial of Gap Scanning has been live at Leicester Forest East since Feb 2014 • Results are promising and suggest that it could drive additional sales of approx. £15 per store per month, meaning potentially £11,500 pa additional revenue if rolled out across the estate. • Menzies trial began May 2014
