01_ Conditional & Operation Design

DICE – POLYCLOUD Polyfoam + Dice = Cloud ? The concept for the model is a cloud and the material that I used is the polyfoam. Because when I am thinking about what can I do after I diced my material which is the polyfoam. The first thing came out from my mind is a cloud. Because both of them have the same colour, it is easy me to relate them. After that, I also think about something like the mosaic and the Minecraft. So I will try to do the cloud with the mosaic effect that it will look like a cloud in the Minecraft. And another reason I choose a cloud as my concept is because it is very interesting for me. The cloud do not have a specific pattern. It will keep changing when the winds blow. So I want to add this into my model. So you can see my model have different pattern in different angle.

Process I diced a big polyfoam block into many small cube and also in different size. Because it will help my model look like more layers. And the reason why I install a light inside my model is because the bulk is representing the sun and the sunlight can help me diced the shadow through the small cube that I diced. DETAIL
