Plants are recognised for their healing properties, promoting the reduction of stress and tension levels with improved concentration, enhanced creativity and an overall enriched interior space. 80-90% of our daily awake hours are spent indoors, making it essential to include live planting in and around our living and working spaces.
Life Indoors specialises in offering a range of bespoke products including: Greenwalls, atriums, treescape indoor gardens, modular wall hanging planters, floor standing planters, small table top planters, flower arrangements and a range of artificial greenery for those spaces where live greenery won’t survive.
For the past two years, our entire lives have been turned upside down by the Corona Virus. We’ve had to adapt to a new norm of mask wearing, working from home, limiting contact with friends and family and periods of complete isolation. This year we are focussing on restoring better workspaces by drawing strength from nature. How?
Through scientifically proven facts indoor plants can provide health benefits to humans.
Remove toxic agents such as benzene, formaldehyde, ammonia, xylene and trichloroethylene from the air.
Absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen through photosynthesis.
Reduce noise levels through their ability to absorb, reflect and refract sound.
Boost productivity and morale.
Reduce fatigue and stress levels.
Connect humans to our natural environment.
01 During the growing process, local growers start by planting cuttings taken from their mother stock. After 4 to 6 weeks, roots settle and new leaves sprout.
At 8 months, the small plant is fully formed and thriving
A fully rooted plant is placed in our Life Indoors temperature controlled greenhouse for a period of 2 to 3 months.

This range of timeless planters have been made using recycled materials and stone powder. The thought behind the designs is durability - long lasting designs supported by a product that is sturdy, frost resistant, break proof and most importantly - sustainable.
We love that some of our suppliers are dedicated to reducing the use of single-use plastics in their packaging by choosing recyclable products such as cardboard.
Planters can do with a fresh new coat of paint - especially those that may be outdated. Instead of throwing planters away, some of our suppliers offer a refurbishment service to refreshen old planters.
Wall-mounted planters are the perfect way to showcase living greenery in sculptural forms, enhancing blank surfaces and creating a piece of living art. Workspaces in 2022 have been completely re-imagined with a focus on fully integrating plant life into modern working environments. We’ve installed modern ‘green’ screens to replace dry walls; planted greenery in negative spaces between desks to creating privacy, absorbing noise and beautifying indoor spaces.
We’ve partnered with some incredible local designers who create bespoke, beautiful handmade ceramics that combine craft, colour and functionality.
The heat of the kiln is the key in the creation of each piece and dictates the nuances of each colour. True alchemy through fire, the results from the kiln and collective effort bring joy on a daily basis.
Crafted with experience and utmost care, a number of hand work processes are combined to bring you a timeless piece with an artisanal feel.
Certain finishes are reactive, meaning that the glazes are designed in a way that no two pots are identical. While they all have the same colour tone they are designed with a more natural feeling in mind and that results in finishes that vary from pot to pot.
Aluminium and stainless steel are the most commonly used material in the manufacture of these planters. The planters are fabricated by hand in a number of designs, round and square cones, cubes and troughs. Finishes are brushed, satin, mirror or painted.
Aluminium is the most rust resistant as are the higher grade stainless steels. All aluminium and stainless steel planters are 100% recyclable.
All our planter boxes are manufactured from treated wood. The wood is sealed with a penetrating sealer so as not to absorb water, with a rubberised sealer painted on the inside. The standard colours are ash and walnut however we are able to treat the wood in others stains/colours on request. We can custom make sizes to client specification.
Polyethylene is a recyclable polymer. Up to 25% of this material is used in the rotary moulding manufacturing of polyethylene planters.
Polyethylene pellets are heated in a mould which is then mechanically rotated to evenly distribute the molten material to all sections of the mould. The mould is then cooled in an airflow to enable the removal of the finished planter which is then trimmed to perfection. The planters are lightweight and extremely durable.
The polyethylene planters are available in various shapes and sizes, with a wide range of colours and contemporary designs.
The planter is painted with a lead free polyurethane product. The spray equipment is cleaned with a product which has a low VOC (volatile organic compound) content.
Original and unique contemporary designs are generated in collaboration with leading designers, architects and artists who have a deep appreciation of the scenic quality of creative planting.
But more importantly they understand the impact great sculptural planters can have in an architectural design.Using top quality materials these planters are honed by highly skilled artisans with great care and attention to strength, hardiness and finish.
In knowing the practicalities of maintaining plants, especially for larger establishments, these concrete planters are designed to be lightweight for stress free transportation and installation.
The range of planters we offer come with removable inner linings and water reservoirs for practical plant care indoors or out.
