Life Indoors, a division of Life Green Group, are dedicated in providing the highest level of service while specialising in creative design, sourcing of bespoke decorative containers, executing installation and managing the maintenance thereafter.

As a leading interior plantscaping company, we concentrate on the growing and supplying of healthy, acclimatised indoor plants. Along with this goes a maintenance plan which allows you as our client to concentrate on your core business leaving the servicing of your greenery to us as the experts.

Our dedicated technicians are put through stringent horticultural training before being allowed to visit our clients premises. This allows us to offer a fully guaranteed service whereby we absorb the cost of plant replacement.

Our staff have valid police clearance certificates, annual medicals, regular H&S training, full corporate uniforms and corporate name badges. We follow set client calling schedules that informs clients as to when servicing will be carried out.

Close relations are held with leading Interior Designers, Architects, Landscape Architects, Property Developers & Facility Companies whereby we assist in creating collaborative working spaces specific to the client’s needs.

In a rapidly changing world, we all want to be seen & heard. But now more than ever, humanity comes first.

Environmental psychological studies have shown obvious links between well-being psychological stability, stress levels, other aspects of human life and environmental factors.

The psychological benefits of bringing nature indoors have never been more clear.

Plants change the atmosphere of our indoor spaces so effortlessly and inexpensively. When we breathe, we take in oxygen and release carbon dioxide. During photosynthesis, plants absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen.

This effortless rhythm between nature and man makes people & plants life partners.

As part of the photosynthetic and respiratory process, plants release roughly 97% of the water they take in, in the form of vapour. The vapour in turn increases humidity of the air around them.

Plants have a remarkable ability to remove toxins from the air. Up to 87% of volatile organic compounds (VOC’s) are removed from the atmosphere every 24 hours, according to NASA research. VOC’s include substances like formaldehyde (present in rugs, vinyl, cigarette smoke and grocery bags), benzene and trichloroethylene (both found in man-made fibres, ink, solvent and paint). Benzene is commonly found in high concentrations in study settings, where books and printed papers abound.

Plants purify trapped air full of VOC’s by pulling contaminants into the soil, where root zone micro-organisms convert VOC’s into food for the plants.

80% to 90% of our awake hours are spent indoors with modern furnishings, high tech equipment and mechanical ventilation all of which contribute to the hundreds of volatile organic compounds found in the air we breathe. The only certainty at the moment is that human health is deeply connected to the health of the environment.

Our new reality will need to be filled with positivity in order to encourage and uplift each other during this year of survival.

CERAMIC PLANTER COLLECTION

We’ve partnered with some incredible local designers who create bespoke, beautiful handmade ceramics that combine craft, colour and functionality.

The heat of the kiln is the key in the creation of each piece and dictates the nuances of each colour. True alchemy through fire, the results from the kiln and collective effort bring joy on a daily basis.

Crafted with experience and utmost care, a number of hand work processes are combined to bring you a timeless piece with an artisanal feel.

Certain finishes are reactive, meaning that the glazes are designed in a way that no two pots are identical. While they all have the same colour tone they are designed with, a more natural feeling in mind and that results in finishes that vary from pot to pot.

POLYETHYLENE PLANTER COLLECTION

Polypropylene is a recyclable polymer. Up to 25% of this material is used in the rotary moulding manufacturing of polyethylene planters.

Polypropylene pellets are heated in a mould which is then mechanically rotated to evenly distribute the molten material to all sections of the mould. The mould is then cooled in an airflow to enable the removal of the finished planter which is then trimmed to perfection. The planters are lightweight and extremely durable.

The polyethylene planters are available in various shapes and sizes, with a wide range of colours and contemporary designs.

The planter is painted with a lead free polyurethane product. The spray equipment is cleaned with a product which has a low VOC (volatile organic compound) content.

STAINLESS STEEL & WOOD

PLANTER COLLECTION

Stainless Steel

Aluminium and stainless steel are the most commonly used material in the manufacture of these planters. The planters are fabricated by hand in a number of designs, round and square cones, cubes and troughs.

Finishes are brushed, satin, mirror or painted.

Aluminium is the most rust resistant as are the higher grade stainless steels. All aluminium and stainless steel planters are 100% recyclable.

Wood

All our planter boxes are manufactured from treated wood. The wood is sealed with a penetrating sealer so as not to absorb water, with a rubberised sealer painted on the inside. The standard colours are ash and walnut however we are able to treat the wood in others stains/colours on request. We can custom make sizes to client specification.

CONCRETE PLANTER COLLECTION

Original and unique contemporary designs are generated in collaboration with leading designers, architects and artists who have a deep appreciation of the scenic quality of creative planting. But more importantly they understand the impact great sculptural planters can have in an architectural design.

Using top quality materials these planters are honed by highly skilled artisans with great care and attention to strength, hardiness and finish.

In knowing the practicalities of maintaining plants, especially for larger establishments, these concrete planters are designed to be lightweight for stress free transportation and installation.

The range of planters we offer come with removable inner linings and water reservoirs for practical plant care indoors or out.
