Depiction of a cut off head in reeds, a little lizard climbing up to the mouth in a pool of blood. This painting, attributed to Katsushika Hokusai, has an excellent provenance and exhibition history – see below. SIZE of painting 26.8 x 16.3 cm. Framed 44 x 34 cm Provenance: Collections S. Bing, F.
