Sarasota author Karen Koenig has seen them all, and even tried a few herself. That’s how she knows they don’t work. Koenig was a “world-class binge eater,” she said. She was caught in a toxic cycle of bingeeating and dieting, and it was doing nothing good. Her perspective on eating, and her life, changed when she read “Fat is a Feminist Issue,” by Susie Orbach.
