Hello, I am Xinyi Wang, an interior designer hailing from China, pursuing my expertise with a Master of Fine Arts in Interior Design at Savannah College of Art and Design, USA, building on my Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Design from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, CHN. My design ethos is deeply rooted in my background in environmental design, where I gained profound insights into vernacular architecture's role in enhancing human welfare and fostering sustainable urban growth. My approach is research-intensive, focusing keenly on the intricate relationship between human behavior and environmental psychology. This perspective drives my passion for delving into the cultural and historical narratives that shape spaces, transforming them into immersive, storytelling environments. I strive to integrate preliminary research, contextual analysis, and conceptual design to create spaces that resonate with their inhabitants. Moreover, my exploration extends beyond traditional interior design boundaries, embracing related fields like furniture, fiber, and graphic design. This multidisciplinary approach broadens my creative horizon, allowing me to view design from multiple perspectives and enhance my inclusivity in crafting spaces.
