The Ellipsis & The Parenthetical: Writopia Lab Literary Magazine

Writopia Lab is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in New York City in April of 2007. We offer creative writing workshops and camps for children and teenagers. Our workshops have a maximum of eight students and are led by a published author or produced playwright who has been fully trained in our time-tested methodology. Almost every year, our students win more recognition for their writing than any other group of students in the nation. We publish two literary magazines per year, "The Parenthetical," which publishes the works of writers 4 - 12, and the "Ellipsis," which publishes the works of writers 13-18. Our high school and college interns proudly edit it. In our magazine, we are excited to showcase the work of our writers each school year and in the summer.
