Meet the Delegation: Brian Mulder, DDS

In this section, we will introduce delegates and alternate delegates of the House of Delegates who represent WMDDS. This will provide members the opportunity to learn about the dentists representing them and for the delegation to share their stories and some business from the House.

Brian Mulder, DDS, Grand Rapids

Dr. Brian Mulder is a member of the MDA and House of Delegates. He is a past president of the West Michigan District Dental Society.

What school did you attend for your undergraduate and dental education?

University of Detroit Mercy.

Where is your practice location?

Southeast side of Grand Rapids.

Do you have any hobbies?

I enjoy skiing, both water and snow, as well as hunting.

Any plans to travel this winter or spring?

I am planning on a tour of Europe in the summer if we are allowed to go.

What is your favorite part about serving the House of Delegates?

Getting to hear about what is going on in the state’s organized dentistry.

What motivated you to get involved in organized dentistry?

I started when I was a student in dental school and have always felt that it was an important part of being a dentist. I have had several doctors encourage me along the way as well.

Where is your favorite place to visit in West Michigan/Michigan?

Brian Mulder, DDS, is married to his best friend, Rachel. They are proud parents of two beautiful children, Jonah and Emerson. In his spare time, Dr. Mulder enjoys spending time with his family and traveling. He also enjoys many outdoor activities such as downhill skiing, water skiing, golf, hunting, snowmobiling, and biking.
