WELCOME FROM THE DIRECTOR OF PARKS, RECREATION & CULTURE TARA FOTSCH

As we move into the winter and spring seasons, I’m reminded of what makes Windsor such a special place to live. Even as the days grow shorter, our community continues to come alive with opportunities to connect, stay active, and discover something new.

Our Parks, Recreation & Culture team has been busy planning programs and events that bring people together—whether it’s joining a group fitness class, signing up for youth sports, taking part in an art or enrichment program, or spending time with friends and family at one of our beautiful parks and facilities. As spring approaches, we look forward to welcoming everyone back outdoors for another season of growth, connection, and community pride.

In 2026, we remain focused on enhancing our parks, facilities, and recreation programs to reflect Windsor’s values of wellness, creativity, and inclusion. Every program you participate in and every park you visit helps strengthen the sense of belonging that defines our town.

Thank you for being an active part of our community. As you explore this guide, I encourage you to try something new, invite a neighbor to join you, and enjoy all that Windsor Parks, Recreation & Culture has to offer this season.

Warm regards,

Tara Fotsch
