Meg is in bed. She will not get up. Meg loves to be in bed.

Mom tells Meg, “Get up. The cat has to be fed.”
Meg tells Mom, “Not yet. I love my bed.”
Mom tells Meg, “Get up. Jet has to be fed.” Meg yells, “I am not well!”
Mom yells, “You are well, Meg. You have to get up!”
Meg yells, “But, Mom, I have a bad leg. I can not get up!”
Mom yells, “Get up, Meg. If you do not, I will get mad!”
Meg yells, “But, Mom, I am hot and have big, red dots. I can not get up.”
Mom was mad. She yells, “You do not have red dots. I am so mad. I will not beg you to get up.”
Mom will not beg, but Jet will.
“Meg, I am sad. Will you get up for me?” Jet begs.
“Be my pal. I have to be fed. Get up, Meg!” Jet tells Meg.
Meg gets up. Meg loves Jet. The cat has to be fed.
“I love my cat.”

The cat is fed. Meg and Jet are in bed for a nap. Meg and Jet love the bed.

Dad yells, “Meg, you have to fix the cat’s mess. Get up! Jet’s mess is on the rug.”
“Do we have to get up to fix the mess? We can have a nap and a hug in my bed.”

Meg will fix the mess, but not yet. It’s so fun to hug Jet.
