Artist Note: This work of art was inspired by the growth of a child, and how children grow up over time through school and life lessons. The tree represents the growth while the branches represent the various different aspects of that child’s life. School, home, and personal aspects. The child sitting in front of the tree reading a book represents how the more he or she learns, the more that they will grow.
