An Interview with Shawn Boyer, the Co-Founder of Anatomie

It was a lovely Jan 26 2023 afternoon, on one of the Ritz Carlton Yacht Collections. This was a lovely afternoon in one of the most beautiful luxury super Yacht called Evrima which is a Greek word meaning “discovery.” Our global Editor Jamie Ye, interviewed Shawn Boyer, The CEO of Anatomie, a fashion clothing Brand from Miami.

Brand Story:

Kate and Shawn Boyer founded Anatomie in 2006 after years in the activewear business. Budapest-born Kate received an MBA in International Trade in France. She met her husband, Shawn, in Miami where the Ohio native was designing customized clothing for hard-to-fit athletic men. The two joined forces to design sportswear for brands such as Elite Models, Cigarette Boats, Lamborghini and Nikki Beach clubs. Ten years ago, Anatomie began selling their product to the Ritz Carlton group.

omie uses very high quality fabric like super Ninon to keep you comfortable and flexible, especially when traveling. When you travel, you want to be fashionable - but also comfortable. Anatomie can help you be both. When you fly first class you want to wear comfortable clothing and yet still looks nice. Also, when you are on the road for as long as 10 days, you want your clothing to easily dry after washing it.

Anatomie exists to outfit the global traveler and everyday adventurer in the most comfortable and stylish performance apparel. They define themselves as a luxury brand. However, luxury is not a price point; it’s a feeling of ultimate comfort and personalized experience. Anatomie also believes luxury should be affordable too.

In 2005, they began with an idea of designing for the work-out clothing line. After more than 600 fashion shows experienced, they realized that when their clients traveled, Anatomie was the only brand they wore.
