Spring at The Pickwick Place

BUCYRUS - And there are lots of great activities on the calendar to chase away the winter blues. A shopping trip should be in order to see the newest items on display in the Stalls at The Pickwick Place.

The Pickwick Place is a set of historical brick barns and surrounding farmland located just outside of town. Starting out seven years ago as a produce market, The Pickwick Place began growing their own produce and offered local foods to their customers. Each year since they have expanded, adding The Loft, a wedding & party venue, a cafe, and Stalls shopping space, making it a popular place to visit again and again.

The Stalls came into being in 2019 and there are now more than 60 different vendors displaying their handcrafted artisan wares, antiques and unique gifts. It is a new shopping experience every time you visit.

There is no need to rush through and take the risk of missing that special item because a cafe was added to this booming business just last year. Serving both breakfast and lunch, the coffee pot is on and ready when you are. Serving from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. (closed Tuesday), other readymade items are available in the cooler until closing time.

The 2nd annual Spring Fling will bring a special weekend of shopping and fun on March 17 and 18. The Stalls will be loaded with all kinds of Spring inventory for the occasions. Since the days chosen is during St. Patricks Day, a scavengar hunt is also scheduled throughout The Stalls with vari- ous prizes available. This will be the first event of many adventures scheduled throughout the year at The Pickwick Place. Don’t miss their Strawberry Jamboree where you can pick your own strawberries.
