2014 From the heart of New York City’s fashion district, 2kGrey is the cutting edge of the fashion scene. Designer Meryl Ranzer brings the latest trends, and how you’ll see them in the 2kGrey collections for 2014.
2kGrey’s staple is denim, still one of the most popular and versatile fabrics used by designers. The 2kGrey team is always in the market looking at the latest denim trends are. They visited the Kingpin’s Denim Trade Show in NYC and got the scoop on cutting edge looks and technology. You’ll see washes, finishes, and rich colors that are new to the Equestrian world.
For 2014, 2kGrey’s newest looks include stunning embroideries with new twists. Western, folkloric, ethnic, florals, and pattern mix are the current embellishment trends. 2kGrey adds shine, bling, and unusual embroidery placements. Anyone who has the seen their fabulous floral sugar skull embroidery knows 2kGrey is not afraid to take risks!
For the 2kGrey jacket collection, they turned to industry leader Schoeller for the latest 4 way stretch performance fabrics, and created jackets that you’ll wear in the ring or to a meeting--fashion forward with great fit.
The days of trendy fashionistas wearing just black are long gone. 2kGrey adds lush colors from nature such as burgundy and olive into their fall collection, and soft neutrals into their Spring palette.
2kGrey launches their exciting new jacket collection for Spring 2014. The styles are feminine and modern with a nod to Equestrian traditions. The same can be said for what Ranzer saw on the runway at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. Many jackets were Equestrian inspired, along with jodhpurs and riding boots. 2kGrey’s take on jodhpurs or breeches is what they call the “Riding pant”. They are ankle length, and fit like your favorite pair of skinny jeans. Add a pair of colored DeNiro boots designed by the gals at Style My Ride, and you’ll look like you just stepped off the runway.
2kGrey is where fashion meets function. It’s serious riding clothes that are sturdy in the saddle and slimming, stunning, and sophisticated everywhere else.
