WELCOME

I am delighted to welcome everybody to the 2023 edition of the Dubai World Cup Carnival, which is being held as usual at the iconic Meydan Racecourse. Since the very first Carnival back in 2004, we have welcomed some of the best horses, trainers and jockeys from all four corners of the globe to Dubai. We are delighted to have so many international visitors here again for what remains one of the pioneers of world racing festivals. Across the nine meetings, we are confident of upholding our tradition of excellent racing in the build-up to the 27th edition of the Dubai World Cup meeting on March 25th. Our team at Meydan Racecourse have worked extremely hard over the past few months to prepare for the Carnival and thanks to their efforts we look forward to a competitive and safe three months of racing. I wish all those involved the very best of luck and urge race fans to come along and cheer on their stars – both equine and human.
