Blowe Family Dentistry expanding to Belmont Drs. Abby Blowe and Jonathan Blowe, DDS, announce the expansion of Blowe Family Dentistry in Belmont. The new, stateof-the art facility will be located between Stowe Road and R.L. Stowe Road in the new commercial and retail development Chesterbrook at South Point Village. Dr. Jonathan Blowe grew up in Clayton and received his degree in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry. Dr. Blowe is past president of the Gaston County Dental Society, where he is also a member. He is also a member of the North Carolina Dental Society and the American Dental Association. Dr. Blowe enjoys endodontics, implants, oral surgery, restorative dentistry and sleep therapy. He is constantly expanding his expertise in dentistry through continuing education. Dr. Abby Blowe is a native of Kings Mountain. Drs. Abby and Jonathan Blowe and their children, Jennings and Juliette, live
in Belmont.Blowe Family Dentistry Belmont location will be housed in a simple, compact building designed by McClure Nicholson Montgomery Architects of Charlotte. Architect Charles McClure described the architectural style of the building as eclectic, with a modern version of the arts and crafts style modified for a commercial office building. With a reception area surrounded by floor-to-ceiling storefront glass, those waiting for care will be welcomed by a vaulted ceiling and skylights that provide natural light. Patient rooms will have views of either the commercial and retail area or the surrounding residential properties. The building's exterior will include a stone base, detailed brick masonry walls and architectural shingled hip and gable roofs accented with wall to soffit cedar brackets around the building. Construction on the Belmont location of Blowe Family Dentistry is expected to begin soon, with an anticipated opening of Fall 2016.
