One-Hundred Twenty Students Participate in Quarterly Belt Promotion Test
The Chosun Taekwondo Academy recently hosted its quarterly Belt Promotion Test at the Warwick Town Hall. With over one-hundred twenty students testing for rank promotion, the event was overseen by Master Doug Cook. Students were required to demonstrate proficiency in skills ranging from basic self-defense techniques and poomsae, to sparring and wood-breaking utilizing intense kicks and hand strikes. The academy is noted for offering a wide variety of unlimited classes throughout the day, taught by qualified black belt instructors. Child Enrichment
Bricks 4 Kidz, an enrichment program for children aged 2 to 13, offers hands-on learning through proprietary themed-based LEGO model builds developed by educators, architects and engineers. Eternal Cosmetics An Active Bank Exciting news! Nicole Foy, graduate of the Beau Institute of Permanent Cosmetics, will be joining LOVE LIFE to create permanent cosmetics. Golf Offers Relief Friday, May 22
Brian Ahearn Children’s Fund will host its seventeenth golf outing. The annual Brian Ahearn Children’s Fund Golf Outing will be held at Crystal Springs Golf Resort on Friday, May 22. This will be the organization’s only major 2015 fund-raiser. They hope to sign up as many golfers and sponsorships as possible. Financial contributions to over 500 families with seriously ill children and other hardships has now exceeded $1,000,000.
