The Cozy Theatre 6
From silent films to “talkies,” black-and-white to technicolor to cinemascope, reel-to-reel film to digital, stadium seating to recliners, Wadena’s Cozy Theatre has been “reeling” with the times in the motion picture industry since its doors first opened in 1914.
This classic movie theatre, owned by the fourth-generation Quincer family, has been updated to preserve its legacy. It houses three screens — one with comfy recliner seats! The concession stand feels like those of yesteryear and prices are still quite reasonable. Movies are both current and film festival trendy. Each September, the theatre hosts the Whiskey Creek

Film Festival that showcases up to six independent films you normally wouldn’t see in a small-town theater.
