Local under 18 battle of the bands winner

At Wallsend Festival just a week earlier, local young musicians took part in a competition to open today’s show!

Part of a new wave of original, alternative pop artists, Lily Brooke creates stunningly catchy pop tunes with dark undertones. She has caught the attention of industry and fans alike, amassing a small army of social media followers hungry for more!

Jen & Liv

Jen & Liv are best friends who discovered their love for performing together whilst busking in Newcastle three years ago. Known for their tight harmonies and vibrant energy on stage they took their dream full time and are now travelling performing hits all over the UK including Bob Marley, Fleetwood Mac, TLC, Dua Lipa and more.

Big Red and The Grinners

Featuring banjo, accordion, double bass, acoustic guitars and percussion, Big Red & the Grinners move seamlessly from the likes of Technotronic’s ‘Pump Up the Jam’ to The Bangles’ ’Walk Like an Egyptian’. You will know the songs but won’t have heard them played quite like this!

Kevin Davy White

Kevin captured the nation’s attention in 2017 with powerful and emotional performances in the live finals of The X Factor. With blues, soul, rock and funk in his heart, expect a show full of passion and great songs.

Gabrielle

One of the most successful soul singers of her generation, Gabrielle made an immediate impact when her debut single ‘Dreams’ spent three weeks at number one in the summer of 1993. Her second single ‘Rise’, also a number one, followed in 2000 and her catalogue of hits includes a further eight Top 10s, notably ‘Out Of Reach’, ‘If You Ever’ (with East 17) and ‘Give Me A Little More Time’. A true pop icon.
