The Vieux Carré play and sing a mixed programme of popular music from the 1920s and 1930s including rags, marches, blues and spirituals.

1.35pm – Archipelago

With influences stretching from Joni Mitchell to Don Cherry to Esperanza Spalding, Archipelago draw on a deep pool of sonic references and the diversity of their individual musical histories.

3.10pm - Classic Swing

Six piece band and vocalist playing an entertaining selection of jazz, specialising in 1930s swing.

4.40pm - Trilogy of Four

Four piece featuring a wide repertoire of jazz.

Sunday 9 July

12pm - Rendezvous Jazz

This popular six piece has a wide repertoire including traditional, New Orleans and Dixieland Jazz, as well as blues and ballads.

1.35pm - The Delta Prophets Trio

Blues and swing trio featuring harmonica, guitar and vocals.

3.10pm - Abbie Finn Trio

North East based jazz ensemble led by the energetic young drummer. In the trio she works with fellow Leeds College of Music Alumnus, saxophonist Harry Keeble, and bass player Paul Grainger.

4.40pm - River City Band

A six piece playing traditional jazz from the 1930s and 1940s in the style of Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton and Kid Ory.
