Dr. Kelly DiStefano

Kelly DiStefano, MD, founder of the Montclair Rejuvenation Center, is an anesthesiologist by training. She was influenced by the work of her father, Kenneth DiStefano, MD, a renowned plastic and reconstructive surgeon. She learned from an early age the importance of improving one’s physical appearance and, by extension, emotional health. She became passionate about aesthetics and applied her medical expertise to help patients look and feel their best.

The Center is a medical spa offering a full complement of services including Botox® and fillers, facials, waxing, hair removal, repairing uneven skin tone, treatment for migraines, hair restoration, vitamin drips, non-surgical body contouring and spray tans, to name a few. The aim is to bring proven, affordable services to the community.

The services enhance a client’s appearance by achieving a more youthful look without surgery. “Aesthetics is a cognitive booster,” notes Dr. Kelly, as she is known in the practice. “As people age, they want to retain aspects of their youth. We assist with that.” She adds, “We are able to treat some skin conditions through a medical grade facial, using products only available to a medical doctor.”

A course of treatment begins with an indepth consultation to select appropriate products and medically proven instruments, with safety the utmost concern. What sets the Montclair Rejuvenation Center apart is its offering of the most advanced skin rejuvenation treatments available. Another is its highly credentialed staff. Elvira Grau is the owner and visionary of SpaceEvents in Englewood, NJ and Space54 in NYC. Born in Ukraine she later immigrated to the United States and built her business from scratch. Before starting her event production business, Elvira worked as a Marketing & Public Relations Executive managing Fortune 500 clients, which gave her a unique edge and perspective in the work she does now.

“I feel blessed to be owning my business, being a female entrepreneur that gets to employ a wonderful staff, and having the merit to curate beautiful parties,” states Elvira. She adds, “Everything I do has meaning and purpose, and there’s no ego. I don’t do anything without those values.” Coming from an immigrant background, she wants to inspire other people who have perhaps experienced adversity and challenges not to limit themselves and think they don’t have opportunities—everyone has opportunities.

Elvira is very goal oriented and sets high standards because she is an overachiever. “I encourage all women to set your goals and find your gift to use and share, to find your superpower and don’t give up until you reach your goals… then set new ones,” she states. Despite language barrier obstacles and having dyslexia, Elvira knew how to play to her strengths, ‘her superpowers’ of being super creative coupled with a wild imagination to build successful event venues. She is a firm believer that women really can do it all.

Elvira opened her first event space in Englewood in 2005 and her objective was to create a safe, climate-controlled environment that she saw a need for and made it conducive for both kids and adults for any type of event. As a visionary, she envisioned a one-of-a-kind, fantastic entertainment and private events venue. SPACE can host Sweet 16s, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, birthday, and holiday parties, as well as corporate team-building events, charity events, school fundraisers, proms, formals, as well as celebrity parties. In 2019, SPACE54 NYC opened as an intimate, one-of-akind, stunning, luxury event venue, located in the heart of Midtown East Manhattan, specializing in customized events of all types—from bat mitzvah celebrations to weddings and corporate events.

Elvira is a mom first and foremost, she and her husband, James, have four amazing children. Elvira runs Space and Space 54 NYC with her husband, who is an Emmy awardwinning television producer
