OUR IMPACT IN 2019

WE VALUE OUR PARTNERS

Our support of CMC projects is made possible through our six main philanthropic partners (referenced below). Through their support, we funded numerous projects to advance research, promote academic opportunities, and to provide high quality healthcare at the lowest possible cost.

We are especially grateful for USAID-ASHA‘s renewed commitment to CMC.

With the American Schools and Hospitals Abroad‘s (ASHA‘s) support of more than $630,000 this year. CMC is now using these funds to improve the birthing conditions for labor and the delivery of newborns for all mothers and those infants born with asphyxia. We are deeply appreciative of the continuation of our nearly forty year-long relationship with ASHA.

CMC ALUMNI

Our alumni are the cornerstone of our efforts. CMC alumni deliver care with empathy throughout the U.S. and globally, and support the Foundation through sharing their knowledge and innovative ideas.

FAITH-BASED COMMUNITY

For the past 120 years, the faithbased community in the U.S. has supported CMC‘s mission to deliver high-quality compassionate care, providing both physical and spiritual healing.

USAID-ASHA

Our partnership with USAID-ASHA began in 1982, and we are grateful for their continued commitment to CMC. USAID-ASHA has supported over $11 million in construction and capital improvement grants over time.

U.S. MEDICAL INSTITUTIONS

Our storied instiutional partners such as Weill Cornell, Tufts, and the University of Wisconsin have supported fulfilling bi-directional student and faculty exchange programs.

SCUDDER FAMILY

The Scudder Association Foundation and members of the Scudder Family continue to be among our greatest supporters, including Dr. Rob Fish, whose matching gift helped raise over $130,000 for the LCECU this year.

FRIENDS OF CMC

From the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to individuals across many industries, our friends support CMC‘s scientific breakthroughs, medical excellence, and quality care.
