325. TIKI’S TROPICAL TRADERS RETAIL SHOPPING BAG. (Disneyland, 1957) An early paper shopping bag from the Tiki’s Tropical Traders souvenir stand in Adventureland. For the first several years of Disneyland’s operation, the shop was owned by Eli Hedley, the original Beachcomber. In exchange for carving early Adventureland tikis and offering general scenic decor, Hedley was given the shop space rent free. Walt negotiated the lucrative arrangement with Hedley personally. The fine tradition of offering rubber snakes, glowing skulls and shrunken heads to young adventurers continues to this day in approximately the same location as this 1950s Adventureland original. Anything from this shop is a rare find. The bag measures 11.75 x 8.5 in. In good condition with some creasing from use. $100-$200
327. DISNEYLAND ADVENTURELAND MOA TIKI SALT & PEPPER SHAKERS. (Disneyland, 1956) Early hand-painted souvenir salt and pepper shakers from Adventureland. Each shaker measures 2.25 x 2 x 4.25 in. and has the Walt Disney Productions stamp on the base. In fine condition overall. $100-$200

326. 1955 DISNEYLAND 3-D ADVENTURELAND DECORATIVE WALL PLATE. (Disneyland, 1955) A charming early hand-painted ceramic souvenir plate featuring an image of the entrance to Adventureland. Measuring 8.25 x 8.25 x 1.25 in. with Walt Disney Productions stamp on reverse. In Vintage good condition with some wear to the paint along edges and raised areas as would be expected. Some crazing under the glass on reverse. $150-$250
