Acknowledgements The State of the World’s Indigenous Peoples has been a collaborative effort of experts and organizations. The introduction was written by the secretariat of the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues within the Division for Social Policy and Development of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs.
