How to apply
When applying as an independent applicant, make sure you consider the UCAS application deadlines listed on the UCAS website: www.ucas.com/students/ importantdates If you are an independent applicant living in the UK, UCAS (www.ucas.com) offers help and advice for those returning to study. For EU or international applicants, advice is available from British Council offices and other centres, such as your school or college. The UCAS institution code for the University of Bedfordshire is B22, the campus code for UCMK is M. Part-time study For applicants wishing to apply for a part-time course, please download the appropriate application form from our website: http://uob.cc/pt-study. The application should be completed in full and returned to the Admissions Office. Progression and top-up students If you are studying a University of Bedfordshire awarded Foundation degree at a Partner Institution you should apply using the University progression form. The progression form is available at: http://uob.cc/progression-form If you have or are completing a foundation degree or HND from another institution and want to top up on a full time basis you should apply via UCAS indicating the year you wish to join in the point of entry field. Once your form is received you will be asked to provide details of your foundation degree or HND so that an appropriate decision can be made on your application. Making an application – international students, including applicants from the EU Students applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate course can apply online or download an application form from: http://uob.cc/internationalhowtoapply. We have specialist admissions teams looking after applications from different regions – email your complete application to the regional team looking after your country.

You will need to include the following documents: • Application form fully completed and signed • Copies of your academic qualifications • Copies of your English language qualifications • A personal statement explaining why you want to study your chosen course • Copy of your current valid passport • Copies of any UK visas you have held We do not have official application deadlines. However, it can take time to apply for a visa. In order to apply for a visa you will need CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies). We will issue these up to a month before the start of your chosen course. We offer pre-sessional English courses to help students to improve their English language skills prior to the start of their degree. Please apply for your chosen degree course and we will offer you a pre-sessional course if necessary. The pre-sessional courses may run at Luton. *International applications will be assessed using UKVI and University of Bedfordshire policy.
