Suzan lives in coastal North Carolina and her family was raised with PBS North Carolina. As a professor, Suzan was drawn to educational PBS programs for her young son. Today, son Alex is an adult and PBS still connects them.

What does a son in the film

industry have in common with Alex works in the Hollywood his mom who’s a professor? film industry and focuses Science! on camera array remote software and production, where he holds U.S. patents. Suzan is a part-time adjunct college professor of Art History. While their professions may seem distant, a mutual enthusiasm for quantum mechanics and aesthetics inspires them both to enjoy NOVA episodes that bridge art and science.
