How to Activate Your UCI Gmail Account

Follow the steps below to activate your UCI Gmail account: 1. Go to oit.uci.edu/help/google/g-suite-student-setup/ and click on “Set a password”.

2. Enter Your UCInetID login information (see page 38 for how to set up your UCInetID).

3. Create a strong password. a. This password can be the same as your UCInetID. b. Recommendation: Write your password somewhere so that you do not forget it!

4. Your UCI Gmail is now activated! a. Your username is your UCInetID + @uci.edu at the end (UCInetID@uci.edu). i. Example UCInetID: ptanteater → Example UCI Gmail Address/username: ptanteater@uci.edu
